Chromatic Burst was originally commissioned as part of a smartphone wallpaper design project, later cancelled during development.
Created in Houdini, the piece explores colourful powder simulations and abstract particle motion through a procedural workflow focused on movement, texture, and colour interaction. The project combined high-resolution particle systems with soft atmospheric rendering to create vibrant, energetic compositions designed for mobile screens.
Although the final campaign was never released, the project became an opportunity to further develop simulation-driven art direction and experimental motion design techniques.
